Adjoa brings a wealth of experience in women’s and children’s health, beginning her career as a Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU) Nurse at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. Her journey has since spanned private practice, early pregnancy care, and health visiting, giving her a unique, holistic understanding of the maternal experience.
Recognising the gaps in postnatal support and the profound effect this can have on a mother’s wellbeing and recovery, Adjoa founded NŪMA & Co—a service dedicated to bridging the divide between hospital-based and community care. NŪMA & Co provides seamlessly coordinated, expert-led postnatal care, ensuring mothers receive the continuity, compassion, and excellence they deserve during this transformative time.

Consultant in Obstetrics and Fetal Medicine
Christina is a Consultant in Obstetrics and Fetal Medicine at Oxford University Hospitals, with a special focus on fetal monitoring and maternal care. She trained and earned her DPhil at the University of Oxford, researching how pregnancy complications affect babies’ heart development. Christina combines her clinical expertise with ongoing research and teaching, ensuring families receive care informed by the latest medical knowledge.

Anika is an independent midwife who qualified with a BSc (Hons) in Midwifery from the University of Brighton in 2020. She has worked across hospital, birth centre, and community settings, bringing a well-rounded and family-centred approach to care.
She holds additional qualifications in Hypnobirthing, Biomechanics for Birth, Tongue Tie Division, and NIPE (Newborn Infant Physical Examination), enabling her to provide specialist support during pregnancy and the postnatal period.
Through NŪMA network, Anika offers personalised midwifery support, including home visits in London and virtual consultations, with a focus on compassionate, evidence-based care for families.

Clare is an experienced midwife with over a decade in clinical practice, specialising in intrapartum care and complex pregnancies. She trained in Oxford and has postgraduate expertise in newborn care, including NIPE. Clare is also a qualified hypnobirthing instructor and antenatal educator, supporting parents with confidence and informed choice.
Awarded OMNVP ‘Midwife of the Year’ in 2019 and a 2023 OUH Staff Recognition finalist, Clare works alongside Dr Christina Aye delivering personalised, evidence-based pregnancy and postpartum care.
